This essential information guide to "Living and Working in Cyprus" is a great help and probably the best information source available for anyone with a dream of moving to Cyprus to retire, start their own business or, seek employment.

 Hello my name is

John Williamson.

Writer of  the guide toLiving & Working in Cyprus”.

Right now you’re probably asking yourself - what is the "Living & Working in Cyprus" guide all about and how can it benefit you?

Well, we’ll answer that question for you very shortly, but first let’s talk about you.

I'm interested to know - “Why did you decide to find out about this guide

  •  Perhaps you’re retired or nearing retirement and looking for a better lifestyle.

Cyprus is an Island that is friendly and offers some of the best weather conditions in Europe with warm summers, mild winters and around 340 days a year of sunshine, favourable to good health and well being.

The cost of medical treatment in government hospitals is very low. Those wishing to consult doctors privately will find a wide choice of competent doctors, specialists and surgeons practicing on the Island.

  • Possibly you’ve recently been made redundant and you’re looking for a new direction.

By European standards, Cyprus is inexpensive to set up home and live in, and one can get by very comfortably on a smaller budget than required in many other countries.

  • Or maybe you’ve just reached one of those crossroads, when you take a long hard look at your life and what you do for a living and you decide that you’re not actually LIVING at all!

You ask yourself, is this what I really want to do for 8 hours or more of every day, for 5 days or more of every week, for 48 weeks or more of every year, for the next 10...... 20... 30... 40... or more years.

Is that what I have to do,  just to SURVIVE; because that’s probably all you’re doing SURVIVING.

The relatively low cost of living in Cyprus has special appeal, offering a full, but comparatively inexpensive lifestyle.

Recent statistics point to Cyprus as one of the most inexpensive countries in Europe.

There are both junior and secondary schools of a high standard catering for English, French and Italian speaking pupils

Compared with many European countries, Cyprus enjoys an exceptional low crime rate, another reason for its popularity with foreign buyers for whom security has become a key element in the property world.

Visitors are clearly surprised and reassured by this relaxed aspect of life on the Island, for crime is very low, and theft is not commonplace.

All these factors along with special tax incentives offered by the Government, explain why so many people from abroad choose to live in Cyprus.

Just think for a moment, according to the statistics, the chances are that if you continue doing tomorrow, what you’re already doing today, then you only have a 1 in 10 chance-:   only a 1 in 10 chance of being able to retire with a better, healthier lifestyle.

Fortunately you don’t have to accept these odds; because you don’t have to continue doing tomorrow - what you’re already doing today.

Just reading this report could be your very first step on the road to starting a new life in Cyprus.

Let’s talk truthfully about a problem that plagues virtually everyone trying to gather real across-the-board useful information on the subject of starting a new life in Cyprus.

There are so many “how to” books, about living and working abroad and yet when you buy one, at best, you find there are perhaps no more than 10 pages of sketchy information on the subject of Cyprus, the remainder are about every other country, but Cyprus. Why?

Often the writers make their living regurgitating generalised information they get from other people’s books and newsletters and never carrying out any particular research themselves.

I’ll take you much, much further.

As the writer and publisher of the “Guide To Living & Working In Cyprus”  I’ll share with you the information I've searched out through my long standing association with Cyprus spanning very many years.

My research for the guide is carried out in the course of personal visits to the Island, laying my hands on such information first hand from very many associates built up over the years.

Not only that, a good deal of personal experience such as locating a property to rent, setting up a contract, sorting out electricity connections, fixing up telephone connections.

Plus, many hours sourcing furniture suppliers, domestic appliance merchants, a new & used car trader who can deal with all aspects of tax and duty free matters, and much, much more.

As you can see we don't leave any stone unturned to provide you with all the "nitty-gritty" details you really need to plan a new life in Cyprus.

Never again be left guessing what to do next.

Regardless of your current circumstances, no matter how good or bad, we believe that what you’ll learn from the guide to Living & Working in Cyprus could quite literally change your life and, as a result of your new found knowledge, we suspect that you’ll be encouraged to explore this fantastic opportunity of starting a new life in Cyprus further.

Hi,

In the last few years there have been a number of changes in Cyprus which are not generally reported in the British press.

The changes in the relationship between Cyprus and Turkey, and the changes regarding crossing the border, and of course the up and coming change over to the Euro.

These are important issues which will have an effect on someone considering living and working in Cyprus and issues that need to be known about and considered.

The idea that each time an updated version of the guide comes out and is provided FREE to previous buyers is a brilliant idea, especially for those in a position like my wife and I (Still considering the move) as it keeps us abreast of the housing markets and any changes in the legislation which may affect us.

Financially, I would say it’s a BAD idea and I don’t think the idea will catch on with other publishers. Just because I bought the first Harry Potter book, I can’t see Miss Rowling or her publishers letting me have the other books for free.

Regards,

P C.

That's right, we want our customers to stay up-to-date.

Frankly, I don't think I could be any fairer than that.

Really, there's nothing left to say.

Sincerely.

John Williamson

P.S. With the help of the great many hours of research I have put into my “Guide To Living & Working In Cyprus” plus the guide to "Buying or Renting a Home in Cyprus" plus "Buying Off-Plan" plus "Driving in Cyprus"  plus the "Useful Address Directory" and much, much more means, you can now start making plans to “Start A New Life In Cyprus” from the comfort of your own home.
