Question:

We were planning to move to Cyprus last year but as the recession quickly took hold, we thought it might be a good idea to wait until things settled down. As it seems there is no sign of a quick recovery we have decided to reactivate our research with a view to making our move to Cyprus around the middle of this year and need to update ourselves with the prices of houses, cars ect. etc. etc. If you have any information you think would be helpful to us, we would be grateful.

Answer:

We're seeing a substantial increase in the number of enquiries coming through from people who are taking steps to "Start a New Life in Cyprus" so it would seem many people are of the same mind.

In the popular opinion of many economists and financial journalist, with the public finances being in such poor shape economic recovery in the UK will be delicate - With the recession (depression) expected to last 8 –12 years and unemployment getting to 6– 7 million around 2012-2014.

If you think things are bad in the United Kingdom at present, just wait until after the election - No matter which political party forms a Government, they will have to get down to paying for the bank bailouts in tax hikes. The debt clock is clocking up the national debt at a horrifying rate, representing (At the last count) ....... approximately £13,337 uk pounds for every man woman and child in the United Kingdom

Not only that, findings indicate the typical family unit will be facing a decline in their income of around £300 – or 2.4 per cent – next year through higher taxes, mortgages and rises in the prices of food and other goods - It is impossible to argue with all this negativity – but, there really is another way of looking at things!

Whether that means you move to another country escape the recession or not is a lot up to you! But the truth of the matter is, a survey by HiFX reported  many of the population are ‘seriously considering’ leaving.

There is no way on this earth that people of the United Kingdom are going to get away lightly when it comes to funding the efforts to save the country’s economy, the burden of the debt falls firmly on their shoulders – because there is no one else around to pay for it all! Many will choose to emigrate while they're able to!

You see, whether the grass is greener or not, the weather is better, the lifestyle is more laid back, the  outlook on life is generally more positive, and if you plan carefully and aren’t unrealistic about it, you can have a much better life overseas, well away from the mess that Britain has got itself in.

Why delay your dreams? Why put your life on hold ..... for how long waiting for the recession to be over!

Who? says that you must wait for everything to be perfect before taking steps along the way to "Starting a New Life" in Cyprus.
